TD450L Four Channel Vehicle Detector

The TD450L microprocessor based vehicle detector has the same performance characters as the reliable, proven Eurocard traffic detector range. This boxed four channel detector is packaged according to industry standards and is ideal for use in traffic control and toll equipment vehicle detection applications.
The TD450L, while providing separate vehicle presence outputs per channel, may also be configured to operate as a direction logic detector or in a speed/headway logic mode.

FEATURES

· Loop Isolation Protection:

The loop isolation transformer provides protection against lightning and transient damage and allows for operation with single point to ground sensor loops.

· Selectable Relay Output Configuration:

A totally flexible selection of output configurations ensures that no compromises need to be made.

· Loop Fault Monitor:

The fault monitor signal becomes active in the event of the loop/feeder combination becoming faulty, and will assist in localising faults during commissioning/ maintenance call-outs.

· Direction Logic:

An integral logic option is used to establish the direction of vehicle travel, with an output provided for each direction.

· Adjustable Presence Time:

A choice of four presence output settings are available ranging between one second and no-fixed timeout. Presence time is the period during which the detector produces an output from a continuous activation.

· Speed / Headway:

These integral functions are intended to be utilised in the switching of variable messages, for traffic calming or traffic analysis purposes.

· Adjustable Sensitivity:

Have been carefully chosen for traffic control applications and will allow for reliable detection of all vehicle types as well as selective screening out, if so required.
