IdentiPark for Ion Orchard

GIB Automation Pte Ltd has secured the contract to supply IdentiPark, the brand name for an intelligent parking guidance system manufactured by Nortech International, as the system of choice for the Ion Orchard development. This prime development is located along the prestigious Orchard Road in Singapore. IdentiPark is designed to ease congestion within a parking facility by directing vehicles to the nearest available parking spaces at the same time offering power savings to the facility and making it more attractive to visitors.
Ion Orchard, jointly owned by CapitaLand and Sun Hung Kai Properties, is a USD467million development on the prestigious Orchard Road and will boast over 1 million square feet of retail space and super luxury homes, attracting between 80,000 to 105,000 visitors per day. CapitaLand is one of the largest listed property companies in Asia, with headquarters in Singapore. Their portfolio spans more than 70 cities in 18 countries. Sun Hung Kai Properties is one of Hong Kongs largest property companies having created some of the most memorable icons of the Hong Kong skyline, including International Finance Centre which is currently the tallest building in the territory.
