ATR430P Autotag Hands-Free Identification

The Autotag Base Station (Reader) and Tag (Transponder) together provide the front end of a long-range hands-free RFID system, designed to be connected to most access control systems.

A hands-free method of operation is achieved when using Autotag, providing seamless entry. Each semi-passive transponder has a unique code which clearly identifies the user number and a robust communication channel provides exclusive identification.

Autotag offers serial communication interfaces with options of Wiegand, RS232, RS485 or Clock & Data. Customizable communication protocols are available for OEM's and systems integrators. Autotag is intended for vehicular access control and identification.

The base Stations have adjustable read ranges of up to 8 metres which afford a multitude of applications, whilst its directional nature ensures that only intended tags are identified.

Rugged:
Transceiver housing is robust and functional.

Programming:
A unique number is programmable and configurable to the end-user using the Nortech Programming Station, allowing for customised information in each Tag.

Interfacing:
Interfaces with industry-standard Wiegand, RS232, RS485 or Clock & Data.

Identification:
Ideally suited for use as a vehicle identification device.

Range:
Offers an extended read range and a defined radiation pattern.

Mounting convenience:
Convenient clip for mounting Tag in vehicle, base mounting designed for flat-wall/ gooseneck or pivot base mount.

Weatherproof:
Transceiver cover/ base is sealed to IP55 to provide weatherproofing in outdoor applications.
