Track 2000

Track 2000 is a versatile, secure and reliable system for the monitoring and control of selected vehicles. The Track 2000 system consists of a rugged transponder fitted under the cab of the vehicle, and a versatile receiver utilising loop induction technology. Track 2000 may be used as a stand-alone system to control vehicle access in conjunction with most Industry-standard controllers and PLCs or to create a fully integrated vehicular access and online management system.

 APPLICATIONS

· Traffic Priority: Ambulance, police, VIP vehicles, trams, buses or other vehicles can be specifically identified and given priority access at traffic intersections, tolls, bollards, or any other form of regulatory control using Track 2000.

· Selective Access:

Individual vehicles can be recognised and subsequently admitted into parking lots, business, residential villages or any other prescribed restricted areas.
· Industrial Automation:
The management of site vehicles can be optimised by means of the individual vehicle identification of Track 2000, providing logging information at multiple access. The control of speed and travelling time as well as many other informative functions are possible from this event data.
· Electronic Data collection:
The collection of data is automatic, fast and highly accurate, resulting in cost benefits to the end user.

 FEATURES

· Reliability:

The Track 2000 has been tested at speeds up to 200kph without any performance irregularities, and tested reliability at both low and high speeds.

· All Vehicles:

Track 2000 is suitable for all sizes of vehicles, including heavy articulated vehicles with higher than normal road clearance, and the receiver reads the transmitter at a maximum height of 1,2m above the loop.
· Rugged:
Track 2000 transmitters are housed in small, rugged water-resistant units, designed for easy attachment to vehicles and for application in the harshest environments.
· Unique Code:

Each Track 2000 transmitter emits a unique code, which identifies and prioritises specific vehicles.
· Inductive Loop:
Track 2000 operates with a wide range of conventional detector loops and does not necessitate the laying of specialised loops.
· Interfacing:
Designed to interface to any standard access controller or Nortech’s CX 400 series of programmable access controllers. The Track 2000 also provides an RS232 port for direct integration into system solutions.
